This type of blockchain network is permissioned (users can specify what data other users are allowed to view) and no actor is anonymous as opposed to the permissionless blockchain used in Bitcoin.
A permissioned blockchain will require new actors to present identification and access to the network may be restricted.
It is intended to be used by academic institutions, students, and organizations as it will preclude forging the academic curricula of the candidate applying for a new job or to admission in any college across the globe if the institution is part of the network..
