Northcote Parkinson (the father of Parkinson’s law) described with the term injelitance, compounded equally of incompetence and jealousy, why certain organizations suddenly deteriorate.
Diagnostic of injelitance:
• little is being endeavored, nothing is being accomplished
• contentedly confident of their ability, and superiority
Management may tend to disregard subordinate's achievement and completely sustains on average results.
Injelitance is the absolute opposite of development, efficiency, and advance for both people and the organizations.
Injelitance becomes a main obstacle to innovation
